Had a fun Sunday night with some old friends, Josh and Taylor. Even though they aren't the greatest photos, it was nice to be shooting a little bit. These are taken on the top of a 6 story parking deck. The wind felt AWESOME!

What A Sunday

This weekend was such a wonderful break. I got to meet up with some of my closest friends and just be spontaneous and fun.

I'm really glad I brought along my camera. I haven't been taking as many photos recently as I want to, but I'm planning to get back into the groove and start going out there more to shoot.

Be on the lookout for some new blogs, my friends.

I love this dog. Her name is Riley (even though Trevor is convinced her name is Marley). She was so easy to catch on camera.

Its Been a While

It was so nice to be shooting again. I need to get into the swing of things!

Andy took everyone out for a photo day, and here is the product of that. It was a lot of fun using new lighting techniques, and being able to use equipment I don't have.

Hopefully, I will be out and about shooting more in the next month or so.

I went on a bike ride today within some neighborhoods that are around my home. These are the few I caught before my battery died, but it was nice going out on a random shooting trip. I haven't done that in a while.

This weekend is Sharp Top Cove with YoungLife. Check out for some of that goodness.

I'm frustrated. That means I'm angry. That means I'm discontent. That means I must be frustrated. 

What am I frustrated with? My surroundings. Now, it may sound strange considering the fact that I moved here just a mere 5 years ago. Certain individuals have been within the same environment for quite some time now- maybe even since birth. It's unlikely of a cancer to have a positive response to change, so I'm pushing it by wanting it.

I'm like an animal that can only be in a certain environment. It must be carefully watched and changed when needed to be. There are a few things that my environment must include...

-EVERY building/service I need within walking distance (grocery store, movie rental, bank, church, that sort of thing)

-Starbucks (which is almost pathetic)

-Sidewalks everywhere (for bike riding of course)

-Park with off pavement hiking trails 

-Hardly any light pollution

Maybe I should claim a piece of land and have a town like this, but then again, one can only dream.
